Terms of Service – Canada and USA Orders

By purchasing an Oristand product, you acknowledge that you have read and accept Oristand’s Terms of Service (TOS).

RETURN POLICY

We take pride in our product, and should you have any queries, we encourage you to check out our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Page or contact us for details prior to purchase.

You can return your brand new, unopened (from the package) Oristand within 15 days of receipt for an exchange or refund. Shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns if you simply don’t like the item you ordered. However, if your order has suffered damage during shipment, please send us a photo and we’ll make it right! See our WARRANTY policy below.

REFUND POLICY

You can return your brand new, unopened (from the package) Oristand within 15 days of receipt for an exchange or refund. Unfortunately, we cannot refund opened or used product. The cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you have questions, please contact customerservice@oristand.co with your name, email, telephone number and order ID and you will be issued a Return Authorization number (RA#) and a return address.

WARRANTY

If your Oristand is defective upon arrival just email a picture to customerservice@oristand.co. Please include your name, email, telephone number, and order ID (if possible). We’re bummed your Oristand is busted and we’ll be in touch with options. Please note, warranty does not cover regular wear and tear and degradation over time. All claims must be submitted within 15 days of product arrival.

ORDER & ADDRESS CHANGES

Made a mistake? No worries! We can easily make changes to your order within 24 hours of your order completion. It’s harder for us to change after that, since our Oristands leave the warehouse pretty quickly. Unfortunately, if the order has already left the warehouse, you’ll have to pay for return shipping and then we can cancel it.

We encourage you to double check your order and shipping details as soon as you make your order. If the shipping information provided is incorrect or a carrier cannot deliver the package and returns the product to the fulfilment centre, the shipping costs will be incurred by the purchaser. That said, we’re here to help, email us customerservice@oristand.co with your name, email, telephone number, and order ID and we’ll move as quickly as we can to put your order on hold.

EXCHANGES

Oops… We all change our mind from time to time – no problem! We gladly accept exchanges on unopened product, although you’ll have to pay the return shipping cost. Just email customerservice@oristand.co with your name, email, telephone number, and order ID and you will be issued a Return Authorization number (RA#) and a return address. Of course we need to talk about what you want to exchange it for, too!

SHIPPING

We don’t make money on shipping. Currently, shipping in Canada and the Continental USA is just $10 per order. Shipping to Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii is calculated based on your location and the package dimensions for your order. 

Like a lot of e-commerce companies, we pass the cost through to the consumer, wherever your Oristand is being shipped to. With the cost of parking these days and your time to go to a brick and mortar vendor, we hope you can accept shipping costs for what they are (we wish UPS was cheaper too!). Shipping is calculated based on your location and the dimensions of the packaging of your order. (Tip to keep shipping costs down: shipping costs are lower, relative to the more Oristands you buy!)

The carriers that we currently use, depending on location, are:

Canada = Canada Post, Purolator, FedEx, USPS, & Loomis

US = UPS and USPS

Please note: We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes.

CANCELLATIONS

Not what you were looking for? We’re sad to see you go, but you can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it by emailing customerservice@oristand.co with your name, email, telephone number and order ID. Of course, we’ll try to help you cancel your order right up until it has left the warehouse – again just email us at customerservice@oristand.co. Unfortunately, if the order has already left the warehouse, you’ll have to pay for return shipping and then we can cancel it.

OUR PRIVACY STATEMENT

We respect you and your privacy. Oristand has to collect some personal information to fulfill your order. We will never sell, rent or trade that information with any third party. Ever. You will only receive promotional e-mails if you subscribe, and you can opt-out at any time.
